Easter!

I do realize it is now AUGUST, and the very end of August at that, but I just couldn't let this post pass by and not get posted. Easter was kind of a big day for us, because it was Easter, Tyler's 3rd birthday, and the day we celebrated our other two April birthdays with my family.
The morning started with the kids finding their first egg starting their scavenger hunt to find their baskets. Kairi woke up with her ever so beautiful hair.

Tyler was still in bed with his first egg, it was his birthday, so he should sleep in right?

The boys quickly found their baskets, but I think Bryson was the fastest this year.

Dilan was close behind though and so excited for the new bug gear :)

Kairi loved the eggs, crazy girl would suck and choke on them, so we did our best to quickly dispose of most of the eggs.

Trevor was the last to find his basket, but in his defense, the bunny did leave a lot more clues for him...ha ha ha

We got ready for church, because what's Easter without our Savior? The kids looked so cute!

Kairi really looked like a little princess, I love this dress, on my little mess!

Then we headed to my moms house for family Easter stuff, and a birthday party for three. Here is my solution to a cake. I have always made my boys a train cake on their third birthday, but I didn't want Tyler's train to have girl all over it, and I wanted them to each have something their own.....So, we got Tyler's Toy story train on one side, Kairi's Tinkerbell train on the other, and Trev's boulder mountain of brownies in the middle. It worked out great!

Then we headed out for a pinata.

Followed by an egg hunt. Here is all the cousins waiting to start.

and they were off!

Kairi loved all her little treasures, mainly eating them, ALL OF THEM!

Then we went inside and enjoyed cake and ice cream, and the kids opened gifts.

It was a really great day. It was super busy and crazy for the most part, but it was overall an exceptional day. My family has always been amazing and my kids are so lucky to have so many people that love them. Thanks everybody!
